Information for our passengers and freight customers
Stateliner is monitoring the situation regarding the Coronavirus with the utmost care and is in close contact with the South Australian Public Transport Authority (SAPTA). We are prepared to implement any new guidance from SAPTA accordingly. The well-being and safety of our passengers and drivers is and has always been our highest priority.

03/06/20 - EXTRA SEATING CAPACITY - effective 5th June 2020
Stateliner will be carrying a maximum of 20 passengers per service as per SA Health's recently issued Principles for Transport and Tour Vehicles fact sheet (attached).
Passengers should maintain good personal hygiene at all times and we encourage you to carry your own supply of hand sanitiser.
If you are feeling unwell or showing COVID symptoms, please do not travel.
01/06/20 - EXTRA SERVICES - WHYALLA TIMETABLE effective 3rd June 2020
We have increased days of travel on our Whyalla timetable.

01/4/20 - Terminal closures
Please note the closure of our Port Pirie and Port Lincoln terminal during the coronavirus outbreak, effective Friday 3rd April 2020. The Renmark office is also closed at this time. Please book travel on-line or phone our Adelaide office on 1300 851 345 for phone bookings and general enquiries.
27/3/20 - NEW TIMETABLES effective 1st April 2020
Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19, following consultation with SAPTA we are now reducing the frequency of services on our network to better suit the current circumstances.
Stateliner will continue to run regular services to all of our current destinations, with the exception of Bute, Port Broughton and Loxton on their respective runs.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these challenging times.
25/3/20 - No Cash accepted effective 1st April 2020
Please pre-book online, in the terminal or by telephone 1300 851 345 and pay by credit/debit card. CASH WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED IN THE TERMINALS OR BY THE DRIVER, during this period.
25/3/20 - Coachfreight services - suspended from 30th March 2020
As many of our freight agents are closing in response to COVID-19, we cannot guarantee secure parcel drop off/collection over this period. LAST FREIGHT TO BE CARRIED SUNDAY 29th MARCH 2020. Our apologies for this inconvenience, however it is unavoidable in the current circumstances.

Can I still travel with Stateliner?
If you have recently returned from overseas, unfortunately we are unable to let you travel on our services due to the SA Health advice relating to self-isolation and close contact for more than 2 hours.
For all other passengers. YES. New timetables are in place from Wednesday 1st April 2020. We will be offering reduced services to cater for essential travel purposes.
Stateliner will be carrying a maximum of 12 passengers per service to accommodate social distancing at this time. Passengers will be well spaced, however immediate family members may still sit together.
It is important when making a booking for travel that you leave a contact phone number (& email address if possible).
What action is Stateliner taking?
In addition to thorough cleaning of our coaches, we are monitoring any government regulations and are ready to adopt any new guidelines regarding long distance road transport as advised by SAPTA.
Can I request a refund on my ticket?
Travel is refundable following the usual procedures on our tickets. Should you wish, travel dates can be changed for future use without extra fees. Please phone our Adelaide Office 1300 851 345, your local Terminal or Stateliner Agent.
